Durant and LeBron lead Team USA to defeat France 98-71 in first round of Olympics

This morning in London the United States faced off against France in the 1st U.S. game of the Summer Olympics. The game was really close heading into the 2nd quarter but the United States ran off with the win today vs France. USA won 98-71.

In this morning’s game the United States got alot of help from Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant who today had the most points for the American team. Kevin Durant today had alot of playing time he was in the game for 27 minutes and in the time he was playing Durant scored 22 points leading the All Star USA Team.

For France the team was lead by San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker and international basketball player Ali Traore. Tony Parker played for a total of 25 mins as Ali Traore played for 13 minutes. Tony Parker and Ali Traore had a combine total of 22 points matching Kevin Durant’s total on the day.
