Going on Dr. Phil must have really sold Terrell Owens that he needed to get back to the NFL. Or Maybe his reported child support issues. Or maybe T.O. just really missed the NFL. No matter what the reason is Terrell Owens appears eager to get back into the NFL, and take one last run at the Lombari Trophy that still eludes his crowded trophy case. And the NFL’s second on all-time leader receiver in terms of yards, may have found the team to give him that last opportunity.
KJR 950’s David Mahler reports that T.O. will work out for the Seattle Seahawks today. This comes after T.O. was not in the NFL last year due to a combination of injuries and little interest.
The Seahawks released both Mike Williams and Antonio Bryant this offseason, and while they still have Sydney Rice and Golden Tate, Owens could add depth.
Terrell Owens last played in the National Football League in 2010 with his good friend Chad Ochocinco (now Johnson again), with the Cincinnati Bengals. T.O. lead the team in receiving yards, catches, and touchdowns.
