Indians Acquire Lars Anderson

According to’s Alex Speier (via twitter), the Indians have acquired Red Sox first basemen Lars Anderson.

The Red Sox, in return, will acquire Double-A starter, Steven Wright according to Alex Speier.

Wright, 27, has a career minor league record of 38-33 with a 3.95 ERA with a 3.3 BB/9 and 7.4 K/9. This season, for Double-A Akron he’s 9-6 with a 2.49 ERA in 20 starts. Wright, however, has struggled with walks surrendering 4.8 BB/9 and has posted a K/9 of 7.9. Wright will be assigned to Double-A Portland.
