The Los Angeles Dodgers have been very aggressive this trade deadline. Not only did they acquire Hanley Ramirez, but now they have acquired Brandon League. The Dodgers are also looking to deal for either Matt Garza or Ryan Dempster.

In exchange, the Dodgers surrender Logan Bawcom and Leon Landry.

League, 29, has struggled this season pitching to an 0-5 record with 3.63 ERA and has lost his closer role to now incumbent Mariner closer Todd Wilhelmsen. League will likely serve as the set-up guy to Dodger closer Kenley Jansen after the Dodgers lost Todd Coffey and Matt Guerrier to injury, and will likely see some save opportunities. Jansen is 20-25 in save opportunities this season. League is owed approximately $1.85MM for the rest of the season and will become a free agent at seasons end.

Bawcom, 23, has a career minor league record of 12-8 with an ERA 2.96 and a 10.9K/9. He was drafted in the 17th round of 2010 draft. Bawcom this season at A+ and AA ball is 4-4 with a 2.03 ERA.

Landry, 22, has a career minor league line of .297/.344/.457. Landry has plus speed, stealing 28 bases in 2011 for Class A Great Lakes. He is batting .328 this season.
