The Toronto Blue Jays have been active this evening, trading another outfielder, Eric Thames to the Seattle Mariners for relief pitcher Steve Delabar.

Thames, 25, holds a career Major League line of .257/.306/.429 and in his minor league career, .313/.390/.535. His best minor league year, 2010 with Double-A New Hampshire was extremely impressive. Playing in 130 games, he hit 27 HR with 104 RBIs with a line of .288/.370/.526.

Delabar, 29, has 40 Major League games under his belt, all relief. He’s gone 3-2 over those 40 games with an ERA 3.92 and a 10.9K/9. He will likely serve as a middle reliever for the Blue Jays.
